The magnolia is one of my favorite flowers. I was struck by them when I was in the south. They are truly so feminine and pretty. Magnolias often symbolize perseverance and beauty. The trees long lifespan ( they can live for centuries) makes it a symbol of durability. The flowers symbolize the ability to endure hardships while maintaining grace as the trees flowers still bloom even in severe storms. These flowers are often used in bridal bouquets as their white color is so breathtakingly pure.
